Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh is on verge of signing for French Ligue One side, Metz from English Championship side, Hull City.
Earlier this week, the owner of Hull City, Acun llicali revealed that the club has received an offer from an unnamed French team for the services of Benjamin Tetteh.
Per Acun llicali, the club has welcomed the interest. However, he revealed that the decision to sell Tetteh was not due to financial problems but due to the player’s wish.
In the latest development, MahamaShaibu.com can confirm that the interest for the Ghanaian striker from the French Ligue One is from newly promoted side Metz.
Hull City and Metz have already reached an agreement over the transfer fee for the player and there would only be a few details left to settle for the transfer to be made official.
Benjamin Tetteh arrived at Hull City in July 2022 from Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor. A lot was expected from the 26-year old, however, he failed to live up to expectations due to injuries.
Benjamin Tetteh during his time with Hull City made 17 appearances for the team in all competitions, scoring a goal and providing four assists.
