Red Bull Salzburg midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru through his non-for profit-organization Majeed Ashimeru Foundation touched the hearts of inmates and street hawkers.
Majeed Ashimeru on Saturday, October 10, 2020 celebrated his 23rd birthday. The midfielder honored the day with a philanthropic gesture to inmates and street hawkers in Accra, Ghana.
We also celebrated with street hawkers as we provided them same items.
I’ll like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who made this possible and especially to all my fans for their prayers and well wishes💯❤️✊🏾#Maker pic.twitter.com/8XE2AuZpoq

This latest gesture adds to the long list of charity works and donations made by the Salzburg midfielder.
In April, he distributed bags of rice, cooking oil and hand sanitizers during coronavirus lockdown period.
He followed it up during the month of Ramadan by giving out groceries including beverages, tin of milk, sugar and fruits.
Prior to the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration, Majeed donated assorted items (bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil and 300 live birds) worth over GH¢35,000 to support the celebrations.
