Ghanaian legend Mohammed Gargo has advice Real Mallorca midfielder Baba Iddrisu to leave the club following interest from some top European giants.
After a poor showdown in the 2019/20 La Liga season, Real Mallorca were relegated to Segunda Division.
Despite being in a team that got relegated, Baba Iddrisu was exceptional all season for Real Mallorca.
His performances has earned him a place on the transfer list of Atlético Madrid, he’s considered as the replacement of compatriots Thomas Partey who’s heavily linked with a move to London to join Arsenal.
Gargo belives the combative midfielder must leave the Segunda division outfit to join a team in the top tier (La Liga), where his talent will be seen.
“I think he [Baba Idrissu] should move,” Gargo said in an interview with Citi Sports.
“This is a great opportunity for him to take the next step in his career after what he did last season.
“If a club like Atletico Madrid has contacted him, then it means they’ve scouted him and are aware of what he can do. He should leave”, Gargo added.
