This was said by the Chief of Staff at the Manhyia palace, Kofi Badu in a speech read on behalf of Otomfuo Osei Tutu II at the on going inaugural meeting of the newly constituted board.
“Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has directed that the club should not recruit any new player for at least a season”, Kofi Badu read.
The directive, according Otomfuo Osei Tutu II is to enable the club to use the current crop of players who the Asantehene believes have to push the club to the top.
