Asante Kotoko to play Belize national team in two friendly games in November

Ghana Premier League holders Asante Kotoko will be involved in two friendly games with the national team of Central American nation Belize.

Asante Kotoko earlier this week reached an agreement with the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) to play the two friendly games in November this year at the FFB stadium in Belize.

The games which were arranged by the Mayor of Belmopan city, Her worship Sheran Palacio forms part of the schedule for the global Mayor Conference to take place in Belize in November.

The agreement for the games to be played was signed by Management member of the club, Patrick Osei Agyemang (Songo) and the General Secretary of FFB, Earl Jones.

According to Earl Jones, the agreement is a significant step to build a collaboration with Asante Kotoko. He added that it’ll also be an opportunity to improve the national team and to learn from the experience.

Meanwhile, the Porcupine Warriors are currently in Benin preparing for the first leg of the CAF Champions League Preliminary round clash against Burkinabe side RC Kadiogo.

The game is scheduled for Monday, September 11 at the Stade de l’Amitié Général Mathieu Kérékou.
