Ghana Premier League holders Asante Kotoko have identified Burkinabé Coach Kamou Malo as replacement for the outgoing Prosper Narteh Ogum
The Porcupine Warriors have been in the news in the past few days following the verbal resignation of Head Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
Despite the club not confirming the departure of the Assistant Black Galaxies manager, reports from Pure FM is that the club has identified former Burkina Faso National team coach Kamou Malo as replacement.
The Porcupine Warriors have reportedly held talks with the the 59-year-old who parted ways with the Burkina Faso National team in February.
Per the reports, the two parties are close to reaching an agreement that could cost $6,000 a month.
Kamou Malo who’s a police officer by profession recently guided Burkina Faso to a fourth placed finish at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The highly rated manager has spent all his managerial career in Burkina Faso, managing Majestic FC, RC Kadiogo, Union Sportive des Forces Armées (USFA), AS SONABEL and RC Kadiogo.
Kamou Malo has won the Burkinabé Premier League on two occasions (2015–16, 2016–17), the Coupe du Faso and the Burkinabé SuperCup in 2012.
