Kumasi Asante Kotoko came from two goals down to beat Division Two side Panthers FC 4-2 in their first preseason friendly at the Legon Ajax Park.
The Porcupine Warriors found themselves two goals down in the opening 20 minutes of the game. However, they managed to turn the game around before the break, Stephen Amankona, Ernest Osei-Poku and Steven Mukwala were on target.
In the second half, Asante Kotoko scored another goal to wrap up the win, Dickson Afoakwa heading home a precise crossing from Augustine Agyapong, 4-2.
The likes of Frederick Asare, Enoch Morrison, Richmond Lamptey, Thomas Pele, Isaac Oppong, Moise Pouaty, Ismail Ganiyu, Emmanuel Sarkodie and so on were all in action for the league holders.
Asante Kotoko will stay in Accra and continue their preparations for the new season which is scheduled to kickoff next month.
Meanwhile, the preseason trip to Turkey has been postponed indefinitely due to the visa issues.
