Asante Kotoko National Circles Council (NCC) find themselves on the wrong end as their plans of helping their beloved club is punctured after they were reported to Manhyia and asked to stay off competition with management.

The NCC led by Mr. Christopher Damenya recently disclosed it readiness to settle the salary areas of former club CEO George Amoako.

The supporters wing had also publicly declare it intention to fund the transfer of Ashanti Gold midfielder Latif Anabila to the club.

But after a meeting with the Chief of Staff of Manhyia, Mr. Kofi Badu on Saturday at the National house of chiefs, spokesperson of the supporters wing Alexander Osei Owusu has revealed that they’ve been asked by Manhyia to avert the two intentions as it is seen as an avenue of creating competition with management.

“We planned as the NCC to write a letter to the board seeking their approval to settle the debt owed our former CEO, George Amoako but during our meeting with the chief of staff of manhyia, he revealed there’s been a report of the NCC trying to compete the management”, spokesperson of the wing Alexander Osei Owusu told Kumasi FM.

“We explained our stance of only providing assistance to the board and the management.

“Another instance which was reported to manhyia as an avenue of competition and creating competition with management was the decision of the NCC to purchase Latif Anabila for the club”.

“We have hence decided to stop the implementation of all these plans for peace to prevail”, he concluded.
