Asante Kotoko boss Seydou Zerbo, Vision’s Vladislav Viric and Swedru All Blacks suffer fines for various misconducts

The Disciplinary Committee (DC) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has fined Head Coach of Asante Kotoko Seydou Zerbo for misconduct after his outfit’s betPawa Premier League clash against Bechem United earlier this season.

Bechem United and Asante Kotoko clashed at the Nana Gyeabor Park on Wednesday, November 3, 2022 in an outstanding Gameweek 2 fixture. The hunters won the game 2-0 courtesy goals from Kofi Agbesimah and Emmanuel Avornyo in either half.

After the game, Coach Seydou Zerbo who was dissatisfied with the performance of the center referee confronted him in a manner which was portrayed as aggressive.

The actions of the Burkinabe Coach was found as a breach of Article 34(6)(d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations by the Disciplinary.

Consequently, he was slapped with a Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc2,000.00) fine and as well warned that any future misconduct may result in a more severe punishment.

Meanwhile, Head Coach of Division One side Vision, Vladislav Viric has been fined One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc1,000.00) for verbally assaulting a referee.

Division One side Swedru All Blacks have also been fined Three Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc3,000.00) for throwing projectiles onto the field in a league game against Future Stars.
