Legon Cities have announced their squad and jersey numbers for the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season (GPL).
In the list of registered players are Ghana’s all-time scorer Asamoah Gyan, who joined as a free agent on transfer deadline day, one time GPL golden boot winner Nicholas Gyan, youngster Mathew Anim Cudjoe and many others.
The surprise exclusion from the list are skipper in the truncated GPL season Jeffery Degorl and winger Ahmed Rahman.
Asamoah Gyan was handed his favorite jersey number 3, Jonah Attuquaye takes the jersey number 10 which was previously worn by Jeffery Degorl, Fatau Dauda retains the jersey number 12.
The Royals will begin their season on Saturday with a home game against “Giant Slayers” Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium.
