Black Stars head coach CK Akonnor has reportedly sacked Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey from camp.

The Arsenal midfielder was sacked by Ck Akonnor after choosing holidays over team camping for the friendly games against Morocco and Ivory Coast.

Just like any other player in the Black Stars team, Thomas Partey who’s the deputy skipper of the team was supposed to report to camp earlier last week for preparations for the aforementioned friendly games.

However, the Arsenal midfielder showed up in camp on Saturday, only few days before the team Jets out of Ghana for the first friendly game against Morocco.

According to a report, the Arsenal midfielder failed to give tangible reasons as to why he reported late to camp, forcing CK Akonnor to show him the exit door.

The attitude from Thomas Partey who’s one of the senior players in the team has shocked the technical handlers of the team and has left them questioning his leadership abilities and commitment to the team.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars jetted out of Ghana earlier today to Rabat for the first friendly game scheduled for Tomorrow, June 8 at the Complex Sportif Prince Moulay-Abdellah.

Ghana will also play the Elephants of Ivory Coast on Saturday, June 12 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
