Ollie Watkins opened the scoring for Brentford in the 11th minute.

Brentford made it 2-0 on the day and 2-1 on aggregate in the 15th minute. Emiliano Marcondes scored a close range bullet header from a Saïd Benrahma cross.

Bryan Mbuemo made it 3-0 for Brentford just a minute after the recess.

Rhian Brewster reduced the deficit in the 78th minute, he pounced on a mistake in the Brentford defense and slammed the ball home to make it 3-1.

André Ayew, who couldn’t keep his temper cool was shown a yellow later in the game for talking out in turn to the referee.

There was little time for Ayew and Swansea to turn things around, the game ended 3-1 on the night and 3-2 on aggregate.
