All set for the 2023/24 Division One League as ten teams secure promotion from the Division Two League

All is set for the 2023/2024 Division One League, with 10 teams securing promotion from the Division Two league across the country and the various zones.

In Zone One, Paga Afeni FC, Wa Power SC, Northern City FC and Techiman Liberty secured promotion.

Paga Afeni FC emerged winners of the Upper East Division Two league, Wa Power SC were winners of the Upper West zone, Northern City FC winners of Northern Region zone and Techiman Liberty were declared winners of Brong Ahafo Region.

In Zone Two, PAC Academy, Rospak SC, the feeder side of Medeama SC and Venomous Vipers, a veteran of the Premier League have secured promotion.

PAC Academy secured promotion as winners of Ashanti Region, Rospak were winners of the Western Region and Venomous Vipers as winners of the Central Region Division Two League.

In Zone Three, Still Believe FC, Okwahu United and Home Stars FC were promoted.

Still Believe, the feeder side of Dreams FC were winners of the Greater Accra zone, erstwhile Premier League side Okwahu United winners of Eastern Region Division Two League and Home Stars FC winners of Volta Region Division Two League.

Meanwhile, Kassena Nan-kana and Kumbung Bibiem FC were relegated from Zone One A, Berekum Arsenal and Unity FC from Zone One B. Kenpong Academy, Asokwa Deportivo and Pacific Heroes were relegated from Zone B, while A5 Rences FC, Tudu Mighty Jets and Tema Youth suffered relegation from zone three.

Joining from the Premier League are Kotoku Royals, Tamale City and King Faisal.

Also, the 2023/24 Access Bank Ghana Division One League will kick off from Wednesday, October 4 to Monday, October 9, 2023 across all Zones. The fixtures for the league is expected to be announced next month.
