Hearts of Oak continued their decent preseason form with a 3-1 win against Access Bank Division One side, Vision FC at the All Nations University Park in Koforidua – Eastern Region, where they are wrapping up preparations for the new season.
Hearts of Oak after a cagily contested first 45 minutes went ahead just four minutes after the recess through Albert Dieudonne but were pecked back in the 69th minute.
Four minutes later, Albert Dieudonne scored to make it 2-1, before scoring later on from a spot-kick to grab his hat-trick and wrap up the win for the Phobians, 3-1.
Hearts of Oak arranged the game as part of their preparations for the 2023/24 betPawa Premier League season which is scheduled to kick off on Friday, September 15 against Real Tamale United (RTU) at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.
The Phobians are looking to bounce back from a torrid 2022/23 season which saw them fail to retain the MTN FA Cup and as well finish in 12th place on the league table, avoiding relegation on the final day of the season.
