Albanian Champions KF Tirana have officially announced the arrival of Ibrahim Sulley.
Ibrahim Sulley, who becomes the latest Ghanaian to join KF Tirana this summer after Derrick Sasraku, joins on a 3-year-deal from Ghanaian feeder club Rising Stars of Africa for an undisclosed fee
“KF Tirana welcomes Ibrahim Sulley. Player Ibrahim Sulley has arrived today in Albania. Shortly after being accommodated, the midfielder featured striker signed the contract in the presence of President Refik Halili, formalizing his union with the white-blue club. The player is part of the U20 national team representative in Ghana and comes as a good reinforcement for the team. Sulley will be training today with the rest of the team. #mireseerdheIbrahim #welcomeibrahim”, Tirana announced on Facebook.
The burgeoning winger was a member of the team that represented Ghana at the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in India, where the Black Starlets were knocked out in the quarterfinals.
The 19-year-old featured for Great Olympics in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier league season and was a joy to watch.
Ibrahim Sulley featured in 9 games for the Accra based club, he scored two goals and won four man of the match awards in the process. He was as well nominated for player of the month award for the month of February, but eventually lost to Victorien Adebayor.
Ibrahim Sulley is expected to play a key role in coach Ndubuisi Egbo’s side as they seek to retain the Albanian championship title and also make an impact in the Europa league.
