Abdul Mumin signs for Portuguese outfit Vitória Guimarães

Young Ghanaian center back Abdul Mumin has sealed a move to Portuguese top-flight side Vitória Guimarães.

The 21-year-old signed a four year contract with Portuguese outfit as a free agent after leaving Danish side FC Nordsjælland in June.

“Vitória Sport Clube, Futebol SAD announces that it has signed with the player Abdul Mumin a contract valid for the next four sports seasons, also ensuring 100% of the economic rights of the Ghanaian central defender”, the club announced on it website.

Mumin started his career with Right to Dream academy, he earned a move to Denmark to play for Nordsjælland in Agust 2016 and joined their U19 squad.

Despite being a member of the U19s, he made his debut for the main team a few days after his arrival.

He was promoted to the first team squad for the 2017–18 season. In January 2018, he joined HB Koge on loan.

Mumin after after returning from Koge became an integral member of the Nordsjælland team.

He played in 43 league games for Nordsjælland and he’s yet to represent Ghana at any level.
