Abdul Aziz Musibau sweeps 2022/23 GARFA Division Two League awards

Still Believe forward Abdul Aziz Musibau won a number of the 2022/23 Great Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Division Two League awards.

Abdul Aziz Musibau, a scorer of 32 goals and provider of 11 assists in 30 league appearances scooped four individual awards.

The Still Believe captain climaxed his fantastic season with a brace in the final of the middle league against Desidero on Sunday, a feat which earned him the man of the match award and took his man of the match awards record in the middle league to three in three matches.

Abdul Aziz also won the top scorer award in both the regular season and the middle league, scoring 27 of his 32 goals in the regular season, and the remaining 5 in the middle league.

For winning the top scorer award and the most man of the match awards in the middle league, Abdul Aziz Musibau was also named the best player.

Julius Avinu of Okor Nowomi was named best player in the regular season. He finished the regular season as the player with the most goal contributions, scoring 22 goals and providing 18 assists.

Julius’ performances earned him 16 man of the match awards, the most in the division.

Yussif Alhassan who masterminded Still Believes’ promotion to the Division One League was named coach of the season, while Still Believe shot stopper Kelvin Kofi Sabah was named best goalkeeper.
