Posted by Ghana’s local national team, the Black Galaxies have landed in Cairo, Egypt to intensify their preparations for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) Algeria 2023 tournament.
The team which is made up 25 players and technical team members arrived in Cairo in the late hours of Saturday, December 24, 2022 to intensify preparations for the competition which is created for players who are playing in their country’s own domestic league.
Ghana will play a number of high profile International friendlies during their stay in Egypt in readiness for the biennial tournament.
The Black Galaxies are drawn in Group C and will kick start their campaign against Madagascar on Sunday, January 15, before playing Sudan on Thursday, January 19 and then Morocco on Monday, January 23.
The competition which was initially scheduled to take place this year but was postponed due to Covid-19 will be played from Friday, January 13, 2023 and to Friday, February 3, 2023.
