Head Coach of the team, Ibrahim Tanko heads into the competition with a star-studded squad. Ibrahim Danlad, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Ernest Nuamah, Emmanuel Essiam, Dominic Nsobila, Salim Adams, Emmanuel Yeboah and so on are in the squad.
Ibrahim Tanko and his team are charged up to secure one of the three automatic tickets for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and also win the competition for the first time in the country’s history, a test they’ll begin against Congo on Sunday.

Ibrahim Danlad who was first choice in the qualifiers is expected to start in goal ahead of Jordan Amissah and Dari Aziz Haruna.
The back four is expected to be occupied by Aaron Essel, David Oppong, Nathaniel Adjei and Edmond Arko Mensah.
Dominic Nsobila, Emmanuel Essiam and Abass Samari Salifu are expected to start in midfield, while Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Ernest Nuamah start in attack.
