Ghana will open their TotalEnergies U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) against Congo at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on Sunday, June 25.
Head Coach of the team, Ibrahim Tanko heads into the competition with a star-studded squad. Ibrahim Danlad, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Ernest Nuamah, Emmanuel Essiam, Dominic Nsobila, Salim Adams, Emmanuel Yeboah and so on are in the squad.
Ibrahim Tanko and his team are charged up to secure one of the three automatic tickets for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and also win the competition for the first time in the country’s history, a test they’ll begin against Congo on Sunday.
