Skyy FC have secured a place in the semifinal of the 2023 Division One League Super Cup after beating Young Apostles 1-0 in the second Group B game.
The Daboase-based side were the better side in large parts of their game against Young Apostles, scoring a deserving winner in the final minutes of the game, courtesy a Baba Musah penalty.

In the second Group B game, Bofoakwa Tano dumped a 2-0 defeat they suffered in the first game to beat Nzema Kotoko 2-0.
Augustine Ofori gave the Premier League returnees the lead in the 6th minute, before Leslie Aryeetey scored in the 37th minute to make it 2-0 and wrap up the win for his side.

The results from the second group games puts Skyy on top of the table with 6 points, earning a place in the semifinal. The last slot in the semifinal from the group will be contested by Bofoakwa Tano and Nzema Kotoko who both have three points.
On Saturday, August 26, the curtains will be drawn in Group A of the competition, Koforidua Semper FI take on Nations FC and Heart of Lions play Eleven Wonders.
On Sunday, August 27, Bofoakwa Tano will take on Young Apostles and Skyy will face Nzema Kotoko.
