Posted by Ghana’s local national team, the Black Galaxies will take on the Junior Squirrels of Benin for the second leg of the first round of the 2023 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
Having won the first leg 3-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium last Sunday, Ghana will go into the game scheduled for Saturday, July 30 at Stade Charles De Gaulles in Porto Novo at 4:00 pm with a slight advantage.
The Black Galaxies travelled to Porto Novo with a 25-man squad, New Edubiase’s Isaac Mintah was left out of the squad due to problems with his traveling documents.
How Ghana could lineup
Head Coach of the team Annor Walker is expected to make slight changes to the team that won 3-0 last weekend.
Goalkeeper Ibrabim Danlad is expected to retain his position in goal. Augustine Randolf, Konadu Yiadom and Mohammed Alhassan are expected to retain their position in defense, while Denis Korsah is expected to come in for Ibrabim Imoro.
In midfield, Umar Bashiru is expected to come in for Seidu Suraj, while Abdul Razak Kasim and Gladson Awako are expected to retain their positions.
The attack is expected to be led by Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Jonah Attuquaye and sensational youngster Evans Osei Wusu.
