The situation leaves the Black Stars light in defense, with only 5 defenders in the 21-man for the game against Angola on Monday.

Head Coach of the team, Chris Hughton is expected to hand Kingsley Schindler is debut against the Palancas Negras. The Koln defender is expected to be joined in defense by Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo and Gideon Mensah.

The game between the two teams will take place at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in Luanda at 16:00 GMT on Monday, March 27.

Ghana sit top of Group E after 3 games with 7 points, 3 more points than second placed Central Africa Republic.
