2022 CHAN: How the Black Galaxies could lineup in ‘do and die’ clash against Sudan

The Black Galaxies will take on Sudan in their second Group C game of the 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) at the Constantine-Stade Chahid Hamlaoui on Thursday, January 19, 2023.

Ghana head into the game in dire need of a win after suffering a shocking 2-1 defeat to debutants Madagascar in the opening game on Sunday.

Head Coach of the team, Annor Walker is expected to make few changes to the team that lost over the weekend.

Budding goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad is expected to retain his place in the starting eleven.

Augustine Agyapong is expected to come in for Augustine Randolf at right back, while Dennis Korsah maintains his position at left back. Solomon Adomako and Konadu Yiadom are expected to maintain their positions at the back.

In midfield, Razak Kasim and David Abagna are expected to maintain their positions, while Sylvester Simba is expected to come in for skipper Gladson Awako who’s unlikely to be fit for the game.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Abdul Razak Yussif are expected to maintain their positions in attack, while Jonah Attuquaye is expected to join the attack.
