The Round of 16 of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup took place on Saturday and on Sunday.
Dreams FC kicked off the round with a 3-0 win against former Premier League side Liberty Professionals. Goals from Aholou Gael, Ali Huzaif and an own goal earned Dreams FC the win.
In Dormaa, a second half penalty converted by Sam Adams earned Aduana FC a 1-0 win against Asante Kotoko.
A brace from Abdul Manaf Umar earned Real Tamale United (RTU) a 2-1 win against Samartex at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Kotoku Royals’ poor form continued as they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Division One fold Ebusua Dwarfs. Enoch Affram scored the only goal of the game from a spot-kick.
Skyy scored late to earn a 2-1 victory against Heart of Lions in Kpando. Abdul Latif’s solitary goal was enough to earn King Faisal a place in the Quarterfinals at the expense of Steadfast.
Legon Cities and Nsoatreman booked their places in the Quarterfinals after beating Volta Rangers and Debibi United on penalties respectively.
