Dreams FC defeated Skyy FC 2-1 at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese to secure a place in the final of the MTN FA Cup.
Dreams FC started the game on the front foot and went ahead in the 3rd minute, Sylvester Simba pounced on a blunder by the Skyy defense to give his side the lead.
Four minutes later, Skyy were awarded a way back into the game after they were awarded a spot-kick, Baba Musah took responsibility but saw his effort saved by Solomon Agbesi.
Dreams doubled their lead in the 19th minute, Ali Huzaif after receiving a pass from Gael Aholou showed composure and curled the ball past the goalkeeper.
In the 35th minute, Skyy reduced the deficit Eric Antwi Konadu scored from close range, complementing a good work by Andrews Cobbinah.
The second half of the game saw no goals as Dreams FC held on to win 2-1 and secure a place in the final of the MTN FA Cup for the first time in the team’s history.
Dreams will come up against the winner of the game between King Faisal and Nsoatreman in the final.
