Kumasi Asante Kotoko defeated City rivals King Faisal 3-0 under the floodlights of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The league leaders started the game on the front foot and went ahead after just 11 minutes. Steven Mukwala connected perfectly with a decent cross from Dickson Afoakwa to score his maiden league goal for the team.
Asante Kotoko made it 2-0 in the 29th minute, Richard Boadu stepped up and hammered in a spot-kick after Steven Mukwala was fouled in the box.
The Porcupine Warriors rounded the game off after just a minute into the second half, Nicholas Mensah finished off a pass from Steven Mukwala, 3-0.

In the Tamale derby, Tamale City and Real Tamale United (RTU) played out a pulsating 1-1 draw. Baba Kushibo scored for RTU in the 40th minute, before Isaac Mensah pulled parity for Tamale City five minutes later from a spot-kick .

In other games, Aduana FC recorded a surprise 1-0 win against Medeama at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa to go top of the Premier League table.
Godfred Poku Wakii scored the only goal of the game in the 20th minute. Medeama played the entire second half with a man down, defender Kwadwo Amoako was sent off in the dying minutes of the first half.
New boys Nsoatreman recorded their second win of the season with a 3-0 home victory against Karela United.
Stephan Diyuo opened the scoring in the 6th minute, before Yahya Mohammed scored in the 34th and 68th minute to complete the win.
At the El-Wak Stadium, Legon Cities were held to a 1-1 draw by Berekum Chelsea. Legon Cities scored first in the 60th minute through Alex Aso, before Afriyie Mezack equalized in the 65th minute.

In Dawu, a second half Shawkan Mohammed goal earned Accra Lions a 1-0 away win against Dreams FC.
At the Nana Gyeabor Park in Bechem, Bechem United won 1-0 against Kotoku Royals. Cephas Mantey scored the only goal of the game in the 50th minute.
Accra Hearts of Oak came from a goal down to beat Bibiani Gold Stars 2-1. Gold Stars went ahead in the 9th minute through Kwabena Owusu, before Isaac Mensah and Gladson Awako scored in the second half to turn the game around for the Phobians.
