2022/23 GPL: Leaders Aduana bounce back to winning ways; Kotoku Royals continue resurgence, Tamale derby ends in a stalemate: Gameweek 21 Results and Standings

Great Olympics were held to a scoreless draw by Samartex at the Accra Sports Stadium. Olympics dominated large parts of the game but they failed to threaten Goalkeeper Lawrence Ansah who kept his 10th clean sheet of the season.

League leaders Aduana FC defeated Medeama 1-0 to head back to winning ways after failing to win their last two league games. Kelvin Obeng scored the only goal of the game in the 34th minute.

In the Tamale derby at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, Real Tamale United (RTU) and Tamale City failed to break each other down as they drew scoreless.

At the Crosby Awuah Memorial (CAM) park, Karela United won 1-0 against Nsotreman. Abdul-Raman Yaya scored the only goal of the game in the first 45 minutes.

Bottom placed Kotoku Royals continued their resurgence as they defeated Bechem United 3-1. Francis Andy Kumi, Collins Kudjoe and Richard Dzikoe scored for Kotoku Royals. Kofi Agbesimah grabbed the face saving goal for Bechem United from a spot-kick.

A first half Flavien Kongoza goal earned Berekum Chelsea a 1-0 win against Legon Cities at the Golden City Park. The win means Chelsea have now won their last 5 home games by a 1-0 scoreline.

On Saturday, Hearts of Oak scored late to draw 1-1 against GoldStars at the Dun’s Park in Bibiani. Evans Owusu scored for GoldStars in the 5th minute, before Isaac Mensah equalized for Hearts of Oak with what was the last kick of the game.

The Round will be completed on Monday when Accra Lions host Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Meanwhile, the game between Asante Kotoko and King Faisal was postponed and will be played on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
