Bechem United defeated Hearts of Oak 1-0 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabor Park to move into second place on the betPawa Premier League table.
Bechem United headed into the game hoping to bounce back to winning ways after throwing a 2 goal first half lead to lose 3-2 to Tamale City in the previous game.
The Hunters were on course to doing so after just 25 minutes into the game, Hafiz Konkoni scored from a spot-kick after Clinton Doudo was fouled in the box by Dennis Korsah.
In the remaining minutes of the game, Bechem United created many chances to extend their lead but goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi was at his best to keep the scoreline at 1-0.

At the Dawu Theatre of Dreams, Kotoku Royals and Real Tamale United played out a scoreless draw.
On Friday, Bassit Seidu scored four times to propel Accra Lions to a 4-2 win against Medeama. Vincent Atingah grabbed the two goals for Medeam from spot-kicks.
The remaining games of the round will be played on Saturday. The biggest game will see Asante Kotoko welcome Aduana FC to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
