The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced a new date for the outstanding Gameweek 21 betPawa Premier League clash between Regional rivals Asante Kotoko and King Faisal.
The two teams were initially scheduled to face-off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, March 12, but the game was postponed to Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
In the latest development, the Ghana FA has announced that the game has further been postponed and will now be played on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, with kickoff time scheduled for 6pm.
The fixture was postponed due to the closure of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to improve the quality of the pitch for the senior national team, the Black Stars’ African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Angola scheduled for Thursday, March 23.
The Black Meteors (U-23) will also battle Algeria at the ground in the second leg of the third and final qualifying round of the TotalEnergies U-23 Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
