The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the best performing players in each position in Gameweek six (6) of the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League.
The list was compiled and presented by former Black Stars goalkeeper Abubakari Damba.
Abubakari Damba in the team of the week opted for a 3-4-3 formation and selected Ibrabim Tanko who led Accra Lions to a famous 1-0 win against Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabor park, a win which sends them top of the table.
In post for the team is Andrews Owusu who made a number of good saves to help Accra Lions record that famous win in Bechem.
Kwadwo Addai who marshaled the defense for Karela United against Hearts of Oak in a 0-0 draw is picked in defense alongside Asante Kotoko’s Sherif Mohammed and Tamale City’s Issah Nyaabila.
Yahaya Adraman, a scorer of two goals and a man of the match award winner for Bibiani Gold Stars against Samartex is deployed at right wing. Legon Cities’ Eric Osei Bonsu occupy the left wing, while teammate Michel Otou and Stephen Dankwah Badu of Real Tamale United (RTU) play in midfield.
The attack is led by the Nicholas Mensah who scored Asante Kotoko’s solitary goal against Medeama, Nsoatreman’s Frederick Boateng and King Faisal’s Abednego Tetteh.
