The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the best performing players in each position in Gameweek nineteen (19) of the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League.
The list was compiled and presented by former Black Stars goalkeeper Abubakari Damba.
Abubakari Damba in his team opted for a 4-4-2 formation and selected James Nicholas Francis who led Accra Lions to a 2-1 win against Karela United at the Crosby Awuah Memorial (CAM) park.
In post for the team of the week is Frank Boateng who put in a commanding performance for Kotoku Royals in their 3-0 win against rivals Dreams FC in Dawu.
The back four is occupied by Issa Ibrabim of Accra Lions, Sherif Mohammed of Asante Kotoko, King Faisal’s Joseph Adu Dwomoh and Samuel Ashie Quaye who was the scorer of Great Olympics’ goal in the 1-0 win against Hearts of Oak.
Man of the match in the Great Olympics and Hearts of Oak clash Razak Kasim is picked in midfield alongside Godfred Kyei of Bibiani GoldStars, while Asante Kotoko’s Enoch Morrison and Collins Ameyaw of Berekum Chelsea occupy either flanks.
In-form Abass Samari of Accra Lions makes his third consecutive appearance in the team and is paired upfront with Francis Andy Kumi of Kotoku Royals.
