Posted by The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the best performing players in each position in Gameweek eleven (11) of the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League.
The list was compiled and presented by former Black Stars goalkeeper Abubakari Damba.
Abubakari Damba in the team of the week opted for a 4-4-2 formation and selected Ibrabim Tanko who led Accra Lions to a 3-1 win against Accra rivals Legon Cities at the RedBull Arena in Sogakope.
In post for the team is Benjamin Asare who made a number of good saves to help Great Olympics play a 1-1 draw against Asante Kotoko in Kumasi.
The back four is occupied by Aduana’s Godfred Poku Wakii, Yussif Nurudeen of Real Tamale United (RTU), Ampem Da Costa of Bibiani Gold Stars and Abdul Bashiru who scored for Great Olympics against Asante Kotoko.
Evans Ampofo of Accra Lions and Samuel Baah Nuako of Tamale City are paired in defense, while RTU’s Manaf Umar and Hearts of Oak’s Salifu Ibrahim occupy either flank.
The attack is led by Agyenim Boateng Mensah who struck twice for Dreams in the 4-0 win against Tamale City and Richard Dzikoe who scored the winner for Kotoku Royals in the 2-1 win against Berekum Chelsea.
