Premier League holders Asante Kotoko recorded a fourth consecutive draw after their game against Bibiani GoldStars at the Dun’s Park ended 1-1.
Asante Kotoko struck first in the dying embers of the first half, Steven Mukwala capitalized on an error by the Gold Stars defense to go round the goalkeeper and put the ball into the net.
Just five minutes into the second half, Bibiani GoldStars were awarded a bizarre penalty. Ibrabim Laar stepped up and took the kick but his effort was saved, before Yahaya Adramani pounced on the rebound to make it 1-1.
In the 70th minute, Bibiani GoldStars were awarded another spot-kick, Prince Owusu Kwabena took responsibility but his effort was kept out by Frederick Asare.
Both sides in the remaining minutes of the game pushed bodies forward for the winning goal but to no avail as it ended 1-1.
At the Accra Sports Stadium, Accra Lions returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory against Berekum Chelsea.

Seidu Bassit opened the scoring for Accra Lions in the 21st minute, before Mezack Afriyie scored to make it 1-1 in the 44th minute. In the 74th minute, Abass Samari Salifu scored the winner for Lions.
In other results, Accra Hearts of Oak were held to a scoreless draw by Samartex 1996 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Evans Adomako scored the only goal of the game to earn Karela United a 1-0 home win against League leaders Aduana, ending a run of 7 league games without a win.
At the Nana Kronmansah Park, Nsoatreman were held to a scoreless draw by a resilient Legon Cities side.
Dreams FC defeated Real Tamale United 3-1 to return to winning ways. Agyenim Boateng Mensah scored a brace and Ali Huzaif scored the other goal for dreams. Issah Kuka scored the consolation goal for RTU.

Samuel Ashie Quaye and Aryeetey Ayikwei scored in either half to earn Great Olympics a 2-0 win against Kotoku Royals at the Cape Coast Stadium.
In Kumasi, Samuel Adom Antwi goal in the dying minutes of the first half earned King Faisal a 1-0 win against Tamale City.
On Saturday, a late penalty converted by Kofi Agbesimah earned Bechem United a 1-0 win against Medeama at the Nana Gyeabor Park.
