Four Goalkeepers have made the shortlist for the 2022/23 NASCO Goalkeeper of the Month for the month of September.
The nominees include Benjamin Asare of Great Olympics, Lord Bawa Martey of Dreams FC, Clinton Quaye of Kotoku Royals and Berekum Chelsea’s Gregory Obeng Sekyere.
The aforementioned goalkeepers were selected based on the number of goals they conceded, the number of clean sheets they kept and the number of man of the match awards won in the first three games of the season.
Benjamin Asare kept 2 clean sheets for Great Olympics from 3 games. He conceded a goal and in the process helped his team amass 7 points.
Lord Bawa Martey from 3 appearances for Dreams FC kept 2 clean sheets and conceded just a goal. He as well won a man of the match award, coming in the opening day of the season victory against Gold Stars in Bibiani.
Clinton Quaye of Kotoku Royals kept 2 clean sheets from 3 games. He conceded a goal and was named man of the match in his outfit’s 0-0 draw against fellow new boys Nsoatreman.
Gregory Obeng Sekyere on the other hand kept 2 clean sheets and conceded just a goal from the 3 appearances he made for Berekum Chelsea.

The winner is expected to be announced live on the next edition of the GFA News bulletin.
