Bechem United recorded a 2-1 win against Hearts of Oak to end their 6-game unbeaten run in the league under Slavko Matic.
The Hunters silenced the Cape Coast Stadium by taking a 2-0 lead after just 13 minutes into the game, Cephas Kofi Mantey scored the first in the 5th minute before Hafiz Konkoni doubled the lead with a fine finish after a good work by Emmanuel Avornyo.
Hearts of Oak from then pushed bodies forward in search of a way back into the game but Bechem United defended gallantly to maintain the 2-0 scoreline in large parts of the game.
In the final minutes of the game, the Phobians pulled a goal back through Robert Addo Sowah but there was little time for them to build on that as the game ended 2-1.
The two teams finished the game with 10-man, Enoch Asubonteng was sent off for Hearts of Oak while Joseph Kinful was sent off for Bechem United.
In other results, Aduana FC and Asante Kotoko played out a pulsating scoreless draw at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dorma.

At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, King Faisal scored two late goals to beat Nsoatreman 2-0. Joseph Gordon and Godfred Asiamah scored for the team after Samuel Kusi had miss a spot-kick.
Vincent Atingah scored from the spot-kick in each half to propel Medeama to a 2-0 win against Accra Lions in Tarkwa.
It rained goals in Tamale as Real Tamale United (RTU) defeated Kotoku Royals 3-2. RTU raced into a 2-goal lead after 60 minutes, Baba Kushibo and Issah Kuka the scorers. Kotoku Royals drew parity through Richard Dzikoe and Godwin Segla before Yusif Mohammed Nuru Deen scored the winner for RTU in the 89th minute.
At the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Samartex and Dreams FC played out a scoreless draw.
On Saturday, Tamale City defeated Great Olympics 2-1 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium to record their second win of the season.
Raphael Essien opened the scoring for Tamale City in the 51st minute. 9 minutes later, Gideon Ofori Offei struck to make it 1-1. In the 71st minute, Sampson Eduku scored the winner for Tamale City.
At the Golden City Park in Berekum, Chelsea were left frustrated as they were held to a scoreless draw by Bibiani Gold Stars.
On Friday in the opening game of the gameweek, Legon Cities and Karela United played a 1-1 draw.
Emmanuel Owusu Boakye gave Karela the lead in the 37th minute, before Abdul Rahman leveled the score for Legon Cities in the 74th minute.
