Asante Kotoko were left to rue missed chances as Caleb Amankwah scored late to earn Hearts of Oak a point in a 1-1 draw.

The first half of the game saw no goals. Asante Kotoko were the better side in the half and came close to scoring on two occasions through Isaac Oppong. The youngster was denied on both occasions by goalkeeper Richmond Ayi.

In the second half, Asante Kotoko continued to dominate the game and should have taken the lead in the 50th minute, Steven Mukwala pounced on an error by Konadu Yiadom but failed to get his final effort on target.

Asante Kotoko continued to dominate the game and broke the deadlock in the 55th minute, Yussif Mubarik was at the right place to tap a rebound into the net.

The Porcupine Warriors continued to dominate the game but failed to take the chances that came their way.

In the 88th minute, Hearts of Oak pulled parity, Caleb Amankwah headed a free-kick from Suraj Seidu pass the helpless Ibrahim Danlad.

Asante Kotoko nearly found the winner in additional time, Steven Mukwala controlled a pass in the box but skied his final effort as the game ended 1-1.

Aduana Stars came from 2 goals down to draw 2-2 at home against Samartex. Emmanuel Keyekeh and Seidu Abubakar scored for Samartex in the first half, before Sam Adams and Kwame Frimpong scored in the second half to earn Aduana a point.

In Tamale, Nasiru Moro scored the only goal of the game to earn Legon Cities a 1-0 win against Real Tamale United (RTU). David Abagna missed a chance to equalize for RTU from a spot-kick.

A 19th minute Michael Enu strike earned Bibiani Gold Stars a 1-0 win against Bechem United, their first won of the season.

Karela United scored twice in the first half to beat Dreams FC 2-0. Kelvin Andoh and Enock Aglenyo the scorers.

At the Cape Coast Stadium, Kotoko Royals and Nsoatreman played out a pulsating scoreless draw.

In other games, Great Olympics beat King Faisal to condemn them to their third defeated of the season. Substitute Emmanuel Mensah scored the only goal of the game.

On Friday, a 8th minute Dominic Nsobila stunner earned Accra Lions a 1-0 win against Tamale City.

The final game of the Gameweek will be played tomorrow between Berekum Chelsea and Medeama.
