Aduana FC defeated Great Olympics 1-0 at the their newly adopted home ground, the Dr. Kwame Kyei Complex in Abrankese to extend their lead at the top of the league table to six points.
The league leaders headed into the game hoping to dump recent issues that has hit the club. Aduana were recently knocked out of the MTN FA Cup and were as well banned from using the Nana Agyemang Badu I park due to hooliganism.
Playing at their new home ground, the Dr. Kwame Kyei Complex in Abrankese, Aduana managed to record a 1-0 win against Great Olympics. Frank Owusu scored the only goal of the game in the 57th minute, taking advantage of a lapse in defense.
At the Aliu Mahama Stadium, Tamale City came from 2 goals down to beat Bechem United 3-2.
Bechem United found themselves in dreamland after just 20 minutes, scoring two goals through Hafiz Konkoni in the 15th and 20th minute, his 11th and 12th league goal of the season.
In the 69th minute, Mohammed Yahaya scored to reduce the deficit, before Collins Amoah Boateng scored a spot kick in the 83rd minute to make it 2-2.
Later in the game, Godfred Abban scored to turn the game around and earn Tamale City a 3-2 win.
On Friday, a brace from Kalo Outtara and another goal from Ansu Kofi Patrick ended Berekum Chelsea a 3-0 win against Asante Kotoko at the Golden City Park.

The remaining games of the round will be played on Sunday, Hearts of Oak will host Nsoatreman, King Faisal face Dreams in Abrankese, Medeama play Karela United in the Western derby and so on.
