The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced its best performing players in each position for Gameweek 27 of the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League.
The list which was compiled by former Black Stars Goalkeeper Abukari Damba was largely dominated by Asante Kotoko who came from a goal down to beat league leaders Aduana FC 2-1 in Kumasi.
Abubakari Damba opted for a 4-4-2 formation and selected Maxwell Konadu who led Legon Cities to a 2-0 win against Karela United at the Crosby Awuah Memorial (CAM) park as his manager of the week.
In post for the team is Asante Kotoko’s Frederick Asare, marking his 5th appearance in the team of the week, the most by any goalkeeper.
The back four is occupied by Christopher Netty of Great Olympics, Suleman Mohammed of Legon Cities, Berekum Chelsea’s Fuseini Zackaria and Dreams FC’s Mohammed Abubakar.
In midfield, Michel Otou of Legon Cities was picked, making consecutive appearance in the team. He’s joined by Walid Fuseini of Nsoatreman and Asante Kotoko duo, Eric Zeze and Richard Boadu.
The attack is led by Bechem United’s Hafiz Wontah Konkoni and Abdul Bassit Seidu who scored four times for Accra Lions in their 4-2 win against Medeama.
