This weekend’s games brought an end to the 2022/23 Access Division One League.
In Zone One, Bofoakwa Tano defeated Eleven Wonders 7-6 on penalties to secure promotion to the betPawa Premier League. The game at the end of normal time and extra-time ended 1-1.
In Zone Two, Nations FC recorded a 3-1 home win against Asokwa Deportivo to be crowned champions. Skyy rallied from behind to beat All Blacks 2-1. At Beposo, Asekem lost 1-0 to Nzema Kotoko. Sefwi All Stars scored in either half to beat Soccer Intellectuals 2-0.
Elmina Sharks and Ebusua Dwarfs won on the final day to avoid relegation, Sharks defeated Holy Stars 1-0 and Dwarfs defeated New Edubiase 4-0. Salman Faris Tahiru’s first half goal earned Kenpong Academy a 1-0 win against WAFA.
In Zone Three, Emmanuel Tackie’s first half goal earned Na God a 1-0 home win against Heart of Lions. Koforidua Semper defeated Golden Kick 1-0 to secure second place. Vision and Nania played a 1-1 draw. Krystal Palace came from a goal down to beat Liberty Professionals 2-1.
Kingsley Braye scored the only goal of the game for Susubiribi in a 1-0 win against Attram De Visser, Rences held Volta Rangers to a 1-1 draw. Tema Youth won 2-1 at home against Akatsi All Stars and Uncle T won 2-0 against the demoted Mighty Jets.
