In Zone One A, it rained goals in the Wa derby as Wa Suntaa defeated Wa Yassin 3-2. Maana FC handed Debibi United their maiden defeat in the Division One League, beating them 1-0. Steadfast and Eleven Wonders played out a pulsating 2-2 draw in Tamale. The game between Kassena Nankana and Kumbung Binbiem was postponed.
In Zone One B, Bofoakwa Tano won 2-0 at home to Nkoranza Warriors. Ebenezer Addae’s solitary goal earned Baffour Academy a 1-0 win against Berekum Arsenal. B.A United were 1-0 away winners against Unity FC and Young Apostles won 2-1 away to Mighty Royals.
In Zone Two, 9-man Kenpong Academy played a 1-1 draw against Swedru All Blacks. Frank Antwi scored the only goal of the game to earn Nations FC a 1-0 home win against Skyy. Nzema Kotoko and New Edubiase played a scoreless draw while Basake Holy Stars won 2-1 at home to Pacific Heroes.
At the Duns Park in Bibiani, Sefwi All Stars and Ebusua Dwarfs played a 1-1 draw, Asekem and Soccer Intellectuals as well played a 1-1 draw. In Ejisu, Future Stars won 1-0 against Asokwa Deportivo. The final game between Elmina Sharks and WAFA will be played on Tuesday, October 18.
In Zone Three, Attram De Visser defeated new boys Na God 1-0. Vision and Liberty Professionals played a 1-1 draw. Heart of Lions dropped points for the first time this season, drawing 0-0 against Tudu Mighty Jets. Simon Adabase’s goal earned Akatsi All Stars a rare away win against Krystal Palace, 1-0.
Tema Youth await their first win of the season as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Volta Rangers. Golden Kicks thrashed Rences FC, 3-0. Uncle T. United and Susubiribi played a scoreless draw. The final game of the week between Nania FC and Koforidua Semper will take place on Monday at the Tema Sports Stadium.
