Bofoakwa Tano have secured a place in the playoff to determine which team qualifies to the Premier League from the Division One Zone One League.
Bofoakwa Tano secured a place in the playoff after beating Nkoranza Warriors 1-0 at the Sunyani Coronation Park a fortnight ago.
The win ensured that Sunyani-based side finish top of Zone B. The club has now amassed 58 points, 13 more points than second placed Young Apostles and with 4 games to end the season.
Bofoakwa Tano in their run to securing a place in the playoff were nearly unplayable, winning 18 of the 25 games played, drawing 4 and losing 3. The team in the process scored 33 goals and conceded just 11 goals.

Bofoakwa Tano who are hoping to secure a place in the Premier League for the first time since the 2006/07 season will play the winner of Zone One A in the playoff.
With three games to end the season, the top spot in Zone One A or the final place in the playoff is fiercely contested for by Eleven Wonders, Debibi United and Steadfast.

Bofoakwa will play the winner of the Zone on a date and a venue yet to be announced by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Also, Heart of Lions have sealed promotion to the Premier League, returning to the topflight league for the first time since the 2014/15 season.
