2022/23 Division Two League: GARFA announce winners of the Best Player, Best Coach, Best Referee and Best Assistant Referee for the month of February

The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) has announced the winners of the Best Player, Best Coach, Best Referee and Best Assistant Referee for the month of February of the 2022/23 GARFA Division Two League season.

Solomon Kojo Antwi of Dansoman Wise XI was named player of the month, beating off competition from Noah Adzalekor of Gye Nyame FC and Samuel Pato Kobby of Estate United.

The Dansoman Wise XI forward in the month under review featured in 3 games, scored 6 goals and won 3 man of the match awards.

Solomon Kojo Antwi received an autographed football, football boot, shin guard and an award plaque.

For the manager of the month, Abubakar Shaibu of Union Sportive Avranches was named winner, beating off competition from last month’s winner Tony Lokko of Accra Athletic and Daniel Awuni of Estate United.

Abubakar Shaibu in the month of February led Union Sportive Avranches in 5 games, won 4 and drew 1. He received an autographed football, a tactical board, stop watch and an award plaque.

Class One referee Gideon Appiah Essel was named Referee of the month, while Christopher Deffor was named Assistant Refeeree of the month.

For winning the Referee and Assistant Refeeree of the month, Gideon Appiah Essel and Christopher Deffor were presented with referees uniform, flags, caution cards, whistle and award plaque.

Meanwhile, the second round of the 2022/23 GARFA Division Two League season will kickoff on Friday, March 31.
