The 2022/23 betPawa Premier League will resume this weekend despite AshantiGold’s injunction.

AshantiGold have secured another injunction on the Ghana Premier League. The Miners are contesting the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) decision to demote the club to the Division Two League and also ban its Directors from Ghana football for match fixing.

Earlier this week, a Human Rights Court in Accra lifted an injunction on the league secured by AshantiGold. The injunction which was secured in the latter parts of last month put the league on hold for weeks.

Despite the injunction, MahamaShaibu.com can confirm that the league will resume as planned, with Gameweek 4 league games taking place at the various match centers.

The first game which is scheduled for Saturday, October 29 will see Hearts of Oak host Bibiani Gold Stars.

The games will continue on Sunday, with Legon Cities hosting Berekum Chelsea, Dreams play Accra Lions, Nsoatreman welcome Karela United, Bechem United face Kotoku Royals and Medeama lock horns with Aduana Stars.

The Gameweek will be completed on Monday, October 30. King Faisal play rivals and holders of the league title Asante Kotoko, Tamale City will host Real Tamale United (RTU) in the maiden topflight Tamale derby. The final game will see Samartex wrestle Great Olympics.
