The 2022/23 betPawa Premier League season will resume today, Monday, December 19, 2022.
The Premier League has been on a break since Sunday, November 13 due to the 2022 World Cup which took place in Qatar and ended on Sunday, December 18, with Argentina emerging winners.
The league which went on break after eight round of matches will resume today, with second placed Accra Lions facing new boys Samartex 1996 at the Sogakope WAFA Park. Bibiani Gold Stars will also play Real Tamale United (RTU) at the Dun’s Park in Bibiani.
On Tuesday, Nsoatreman will welcome giants Accra Hearts of Oak to the Nana Kronmansah Park and Great Olympics play Aduana FC in Sogakope.
On Wednesday, holders Asante Kotoko play Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Bechem United host Tamale City, Dreams wrestle with King Faisal.
At the Crosby Awuah Memorial (CAM) Park, Karela United face bitterest rivals Medeama and Kotoku Royals welcome Legon Cities to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Heading into Gameweek 9, Aduana FC lead the table with 16 points, a point richer than Accra Lions who are in second place with 15 points.
Defending Champions Asante Kotoko are in third place with 14 points, same as Accra Great Olympics who are in fourth while Accra Hearts of Oak occupy the 5th spot with 13 points.
The bottom three is occupied by Dreams FC, Tamale City FC and Akyem Oda Kotoku Royals.
