2022/23 Access Bank Division One League kicks off today [Check out fixtures for Week One]

The 2022/23 Division One League is set to kick off this weekend Friday, September 30 to Monday, October 3, 2022, in all three Zones across the country.

The opening day of the season promises to be exciting with some mouthwatering games to take place at the various match centers across the three zones.

In Zone One A, Steadfast who have intentions of qualifying to the elite league will begin their season at home against Wa Suntaa SC. New boys Maana FC will host Kumbung Binbiem FC. Wa Yassin Juniors face Kassena Nan-Kana United and Debibi United host Eleven Wonders.

In Zone One B, Bafoakwa Tano host Baffour Soccer Academy, Berekum Arsenal welcome Mighty Royals at the Golden City Park, B.A United face Nkoranza Warriors and Unity FC clash with Young Apostles at the Nana Fosu Gyeabor park.

In Zone Two, new boys Kenpong Academy kick start their season on Saturday against Soccer Intellectuals at the Gomoa Feteh Park. Erstwhile Premier League side Elmina Sharks will start their season at home against Nzema Kotoko FC. Rebranded Nations FC will host Swedru All Blacks at the Kwame Kyei Sports complex as the St Martins Park will witness an exciting game between Skyy FC and Ebusua Dwarfs FC.

In Zone Three, the Tema Sports Stadium will host four games in the opening match week. Attram de Visser will host new boys Rences FC on Friday, Golden Kick welcome Liberty Professionals on Saturday, Tema Youth battle Na God on Sunday and Nania FC face Kpando Heart of Lions on Monday.

Other games will see Vision welcome Mighty Jets. At the Ho Sports Stadium, the Volta derby will take place between Volta Rangers and Akatsi All Stars. Krystal Palace Academy will face Susubiribi and Uncle T United play Koforidua Semper FC.
