2021/22 MTN FA Cup: Hearts of Oak and Bechem United name starting eleven for final

Head coaches of Hearts of Oak and Bechem United, Samuel Boadu and Prosper Ocansey Mingle have named their lineups for the MTN FA cup final.

The two teams will lock horns at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the final of what has been an intriguing FA cup.

In goal for Hearts of Oak is Richmond Ayi who was fantastic in the Round of 16 against Elmina Sharks, starting ahead of Richard Attah.

Samuel Inkoom and Dennis Korsah occupy the right-back and left-back positions respectively. Mohammed Alhassan and Caleb Amankwah are paired in defense.

In midfield, William Denkyi and Fredrick Ansah Botchway will sit in front of the defense, with Gladson Awako playing slightly ahead of the two.

The attack will be led by Benjamin Yorke, Suraj Seidu and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.

For Bechem United, Abdulahi Iddrisu starts in goal. The back four is occupied by Aaron Essel, Francis Acquah, Samuel Osei Kuffour and captain Kofi Agbesimah.

Latif Anabila, Francis Twene and Paul Keri Junior start in midfield. The attack will be led by Augustine Okrah, Clinton Doudou and Emmanuel Avornyo.

The game between the two sides will kickoff at 17:00 GMT and will be telecasted on StarTimes Adepa Channel.

Hearts of Oak are playing in their 3rd consecutive final and are hoping to win the trophy for a record 12th time. Bechem United on the other hand are playing in their 2nd final and are hoping to emerge victorious for the 2nd time.

The winner will represent Ghana in the 2022/23 CAF Confederations Cup.
